She was of the sweetest neighbors we had while living on Irby Avenue. We were just thinking of her a few weeks ago. Wish I had know where she was and could have visited. Prayers for her family.

Leon and Family, I am sorry to hear about Ms Virginia. . Ms Virginia was one Special Lady. She was always so Faithful to Her Lord and Lucas Avenue Baptist Church. We knew when it was time for Lucas Avenue to help Serve at the Crisis Center, Ms Virginia and Ms Lois Bowers would be there. Ms Virginia is Rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and all her Loved ones. We are all going to miss her, but one day we will see her again. I am Praying for all of you as you walk this Path. As the Apostle Paul told us - To be absent from this old body is to be present with our Lord. 11 Corinthians 5:8

Virginia will be missed my many. She was a true servant always helping out others usually behind the scenes. She wore many “hats” at LABC. From counting offerings, church historian, WMU, hospitality committee to many I can’t remember.
I will miss her a friend and fellow believer in Jesus.
