Sarah Simmons

Sarah Charles Simmons, age 75, of 141 Post Drive and widow James Edward "Eddie" Simmons, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Hospice of Laurens County Hospice House.Born in Charlotte, she was a daughter of the late Anderson Charles and Ethel Vest Charles Brown. She retired from Jostens with 30 years of service.Surviving are two children, Joel Timothy Simmons of Clinton and Angela Simmons Mearns of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Charles Colton Barnes and wife Samantha, Autumn Simmons Gillian and husband Charles, Shannon Simmons Haupfear and husband Tyler, and James Edward Simmons, II; and five great-grandchildren, Ethan Gillian, Hanna Gillian, Alex Barnes, Opal Barnes, and Adrian Haupfear.A private service will be held at Pinelawn Memory Gardens in Clinton.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, PO Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
