Ricky Wayne Bailey

Ricky Wayne Bailey, 57, of 72 Stover and Hurley Drive passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the Hospice House of Laurens County in Clinton.Born in Grundy, VA he was a son of Ruby Charles Bailey of Laurens and the late Herbert Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a former employee of Sherer Body Shop in Laurens.Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Sharon Johnson of Laurens, Carolyn Manley of Laurens, Sheila Simmons of Gray Court and Teresa Hurley of Gray Court; a brother, Junior Bailey of Ora; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Tammy Shaddix and brothers, Sam Bailey, Michael Bailey and Darrell Bailey.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 4, 2017, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Don Peake. The family will be at the home of a niece, Kim Mitchum, 108 Blakely Ave., Laurens and will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.Condolences can be expressed to the family at www.thekennedymortuary.com.
