Patsy Ruth Mann, age 74, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at her home in Waterloo.

 

Patsy was born in Laurens and was a daughter of the late Louis Thomas and Margie Garman Mann. She worked as a screen printer at New Power Designs, was a “Mama” to many people, and was a caregiver.

 

She is survived by her children, Kenny Cohen (Patty) of Cross Hill, Brian Cohen (Elaine) of Simpsonville, D.J. Simmons (Heyward) of Ninety Six, and Ashley Elliott (Steven Jackson) of Waterloo; a brother, John L. Mann (Martha); grandchildren, Teia Rishel (Cas), Emma Cohen, Chenoa Cohen, Jazmine Jackson, Jude Simmons, and Silas Simmons; great-grandchildren, Madison Rishel and McKenzie Rishel.

 

In addition to her parents, Patsy was predeceased by a sister, Yvonne Noffz, and a brother, Sherman Mann (Linda).

 

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 11 at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Ben Rumph. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service at the mortuary.
