Kim, our love and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. Mike was so very dear to Jerome and I and he was a blessing to everyone who met him. We cherish the time we were able to spend with you two in worship and on Wednesdays at Owings Presbytarian Church. He leaves us with a warm spot in our hearts that we hold dear and we know we will see him again when we are all reunited in heaven. Our lives are richer because we knew Mike. We love you Kim.

Mike was my dear friend. He was the first person I met when I moved to Laurens when he and I were both 8 years old. Mike and I would occasionally go to Greenville Drive games, or I would see him when I stopped in Laurens. I owe a lot of my high school coaching career to Mike. When I moved to Laurens, I knew nothing about sports. Mike got me to go out for Little League baseball. The rest is history. Because of him I have been a college and high school baseball coach. Life is short and you never know what an impact a person will have on your life. Mike was that person. I can honestly say out of all the playmates I had growing up, Mike and I never had a cross word. I will definetly miss Mike and his friendship. May my old buddy rest in peace.
