Melvina Alane Peace passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 57 in Clinton, SC.

She was born in Woodruff, SC on January 13, 1964 to parents Melvyn Douglas Peace and Nellie Louise Garrett Wright. She graduated from Laurens District 55 High School.

Melvina was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and caring for her four dogs, Thor, T-bone, Mookie, and Scooby.

Melvina is survived by her mother Nellie Louise Garrett Wright and stepfather Parke Wright of Pageland, SC; one brother, Joseph M. Peace of Laurens, SC and one sister, Jackie L. Peace of Mansfield, TX; one daughter, Kendrah F. Hill of Laurens, SC and one son, Tyler W. Hill (Jessica) of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Cameron G. Hatfield, James H. Hatfield, Bentley T. Barnett, and Kayleigh M. Hill; one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn D. Hatfield; and one nephew, Kolbyrne Trembley.

She was predeceased by her father Melvyn D. Peace and stepson Kenneth G. Hill.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 5:00 PM at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. JD Putman. The family will receive friends before the service, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at The Kennedy Mortuary.
