Timothy Mark FeltsLaurensTimothy Mark Felts, age 53, of Laurens, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017.Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Franklin D. Felts, Sr. and Laura Jean Ross Felts. Mark was an avid golf fan and was of the Baptist faith. The family would like to thank the Garrett family for treating Mark as one of their own while he was employed with Garrett's Gulf Station in Laurens.Surviving are his siblings, Tammy Walker and husband Lee, Debbie McDowell, and Franklin D. Felts, Jr, all of Laurens; nieces and nephews, Amy McDowell, B.J. McDowell (Deede), Shane McDowell (Amanda); and great-nieces and nephew, Baron Lee McDowell, Emma Nicole McDowell, and Danielle Marie McDowell.In addition to his parents, Mark was predeceased by two brothers, Joel Franklin "Buck" Felts and Anthony Ross "Tony" Felts.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mark Entrekin and Rev. Adam Powers.The family will be at the home of his sister, Tammy Walker, 236 Fleming Mill Road, Laurens, and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service.Memorials may be made to Bellview Baptist Church, 757 Bellview Church Road, Laurens, SC 29360 or to a charity of one's choice.Condolences may be expressed online at www.thekennedymortuary.com.
