Lucile Joyce Parker GrantLaurensLucile Joyce Parker Grant, age 88, widow of James W. Grant, Jr., passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community.Born in Miami, FL, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Clifford Parker and Jennie Hortense Pinder Parker. She was a retired preschool teacher and a member of First Baptist Church.Surviving are two children, Joyce Guyette and husband Frederick of Due West and James A. Grant of Winnetka, CA; one sister, Helen Parker Hilke of Cohasset, MN; three grandsons, Matthew Guyette and wife Kimberly, Nathan Guyette, and Benjamin Guyette and wife Brandi; and two great-grandchildren, Madeline Guyette and Philip Guyette.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.A memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, at the Martha Franks Rasor Chapel will be conducted by the Rev.
