Linda Faye Smith, 65, of 268 Durbin Farms Road, widow of Samuel Wood, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late Ryland Walker and Flora Ilene Brooks Taylor, a member of Durbin Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Bobby Smith and wife Jeanette Galli of Gray Court; two brothers, Ryland David Taylor and wife Jackie of Laurens and James Albert Taylor of Gray Court; one sister Ann Taylor Queen of Jonesville; grandchildren Amberly Gailard, Zachary Lee Smith, Brianna Galli and Amber Galli, great-grandchildren Hezekiah Gailard, Silas Smith, Ellie Gailard, and Mason Galli.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 15, 2019, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Maxey Randall with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of her son, 310 Durbin Farms Road and will receive friends at the Kennedy Mortuary one hour prior to the service.
