Larry Williamson

Lawrence Clarence "Larry" Williamson, age 82, of Laurelwood Apartments, passed away on September 26, 2017, at Hospice of Laurens County Hospice House.Born in Cocke County, TN, he was a son the late Robert Lee and Dora Ellison Williamson. Larry was a US Marines veteran and retired from the restaurant industry. He was an avid fisherman.Surviving are his son, Jimmy Williamson of Nevada; sisters, Martha Craine and Mary Sue Merchant, both of Laurens; brother, Carl Williamson of Laurens; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by sisters, Pearl W. Parker, Reba W. Spires, and Aleen W. Riddle; brothers, Ray Williamson and Bobby Gene Williamson.A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Temple Baptist Church conducted by Rev.
