James Larry BagwellLaurensJames Larry Bagwell, age 58, of 2304 Ekom Beach Road, and husband of Kathy Elaine Moon Bagwell, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood. Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late James Carrol and Nancy Smith Bagwell. Larry was a prototype technician with Koyo JTEKT Group and was of the Baptist faith.Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Jameslarry Bagwell of Laurens, Stacy Bagwell Rice of Waterloo, and Aaron Bagwell of Laurens; two brothers, Freddie Bagwell and wife Arista of Smyrna, TN, and Bryan Bagwell of Laurens; sister, Frankie Allison of Laurens; eight grandchildren, Brandon Bagwell, Michael Bagwell, Kristin Rice, Austin Rice, Zay Gray, Aaron Bagwell, Jr., Zachariah Bagwell, and Leland Corino.In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by two sisters, Anita B. Prince and Diane B. Brown.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at First Assembly of God in Laurens conducted by Pastor James Owens with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the church from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service on Wednesday.Condolences may be expressed online at www.thekennedymortuary.com.
