Lana Brewington

Lana Knight Brewington, 62, of 3101 Sawmill Rd. and wife of Michael David Brewington, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at her home.Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Mitchell Gault Knight Sr. and Margaret Virginia Baldwin Knight. A homemaker, Mrs. Brewington was a member of Highland Home Baptist Church.In addition to her husband, she is survived by: her daughters, Angela Michelle Thornley of Gray Court and Amy Margaret Hughes and husband Christopher David Hughes of Laurens; grandchildren, Michael Blake Thornley, Makennah Brooke Thornley, Clay Davidson Hughes, Haley Alana Hughes, and Ryder Bryson Hughes; brothers Mitchell Knight, Jr. and wife Debbie of Gray Court and Randale Knight of Gray Court; and sisters Gaynelle Wilson and husband Thomas of Laurens and Marilyn Barbrey and husband Curtis of Gray Court.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Judy Weisner.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Highland Home Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Ben Rumph and Rev. Billy Cathcart. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
