Judy Penland Hunnicutt, 63, of 2562 Bellview Church Rd. and wife of Louis Eugene Hunnicutt, passed away on June 11, 2020, at her home.

Born in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Dan and Eula Reese Penland.  A former schoolteacher, Mrs. Hunnicutt was a member of Redemption Baptist Church in Laurens.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:  her children, Jared Hunnicutt and wife Hailey of Laurens, Jonathan Hunnicutt of Laurens, and Jade English of Laurens; brothers, Ronnie Hill, Dennis Hill, and Bo Hill all of Laurens, and Tommy Penland of Cross Hill; and grandchildren, Remy Hunnicutt, Connor Hunnicutt, Morgan Hunnicutt, David-Gabriel English, and Kennedy Gladden.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her sister, Barbara Powers.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Redemption Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ralph Byars.

The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
