Joseph Timothy MooreGray CourtJoseph Timothy Moore, 61, of 19 Oakley Dr. and husband of Debra Gainey Moore, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at his home.Born in Clinton, he was a son of the late John P. and Alice Idell Lambert Moore. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and was of the Baptist faith.In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Moore of Tampa, FL and Jeri Moore of Commerce, GA; step-daughters, Elizabeth Hammond of Laurens and Renae Williams and husband Josh of Simpsonville; brother, John Perry Moore of Gray Court; sister, Dianne Moore of Laurens; 2 granddaughters; a great grandson; and mother-in-law, Bobbie C. Marler of Gray Court.In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Moore.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Leon Bible with burial in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.Memorials may be made to the Laurens County Cancer Society, P.O.
