John Edgar Harrison, Sr.WaterlooJohn Edgar Harrison, Sr., 74, of 901 Skillet Rd., passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Laurens County Hospital.Born in Woodruff, he was a son of the late Lester Lavan and Rachel Bolton Harrison. A self-employed truck driver, Mr. Harrison was a veteran of the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Marine Corp.He is survived by his children, Donna Estes of Waterloo, Harold Lavan Harrison of Waterloo, Michael Alexander Harrison of Waterloo, and Cody Edgar Harrison of VA; a brother, Jack Harrison and wife Doris of Spartanburg; sisters, Barbara Gail Mann and husband Roger of Waterloo and Peggy Lawson and husband Buster of Enoree; grandchildren, Katie Estes, Kayla Canfield, James Estes, and Brittany Pruitt; great grandchildren, Carson and Suzanna Canfield; former wives, Bonnie Whelchel and Tina Harrison; and former son-in-law, Cletis Estes.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by: a son, John Edgar Harrison, Jr. and a sister, Margaret Laughner.The family will be at 618 Skillet Rd. and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
