Joe Bond BurtonLaurensJoe Bond Burton, 79, of 202 Overbrook Drive and husband of the late Beverly Nell Toler Burton, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late William Clarence and Lonie Cooper Burton. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Burton was member of Atonement Lutheran Church and was retired from Torrington.Mr. Burton is survived by: his children, Kathryn E. Thureson of Simpsonville, Arnold Gray Toler, Jr. of Laurens, Alan D. Toler (Vivian) of Greer, and Beverley Imhof (John) of Simpsonville; siblings Lena Bass of Georgia, Mary Wasson of Rock Hill, and Dolly Frady of Clinton; and special friends, Ronnie Sanders (Barbara) of Laurens; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Julian Burton and Cortez Burton and a sister, Doris Layman.Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev.
