Joanne, I remember being a young girl and you just welcoming me into your family when we moved into the neighborhood in Boynton Beach, FL. Lori and I immediately became friends and began our love for pound puppies, horses, and visiting South Carolina. I have so many memories with you. On one trip to SC, I remember you playing Elvis and learning the words to the classic songs as I ate too much candy from the gas station. It was like a girl's road trip since I believe Cecil had to work that trip up. I also remember you staying up with me all night since I was sick from all that candy! You never left my side and nursed me back to normal. I will always remember your patient, calm, and supportive demeanor. I try my hardest to be like you in my teaching profession as well as a mom of my own. I hope you and Cecil are reunited once again and planning a Halloween party up in heaven since you all had the best in the neighborhood! Please watch over Lori, Kevin and the girls and help them find strength in your memories. May they resonate your kind, generous ways and learn to lean on their family and friends when they miss you so much. I will always love you like a daughter. Thank you for everything you did for me. I apologize I never told you when you were alive... but I know you knew I loved you.Love always, Tara
