Jason Matthew Simmons, age 34, of 201 Hudson Water Road, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at his home.

He was born in Greer and was a son of Ricky Simmons (Connie) and Sandra Coker Simmons (Josh).

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Lana, Madison Lashay Sue, and Jason Ray; his girlfriend, Tammy Haney; his brothers, Dustin Simmons, Nate Simmons, Brad Simmons and Dylan Coker; step-brothers, DJ Collier, Casey Hollandsworth and Noah Martin; his aunts and uncles, Barbara Towery, Scott and Colleen Simmons, Ronnie Coker, and Jody and Jennifer Simmons; and his grandparents, Wayne and Peggy Pendley. 

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Homer Simmons, Betty Lou Coker, and William “Bill” Coker.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Old Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Woodruff, SC, officiated by Rev. J.D. Putman and Jackie Hughes.
