Jackie E. PattersonLaurensJackie E. Patterson, age 69, of 277 Boyd Road, and husband of Debra Lynn Simmons Patterson, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Eugene Patterson and Margaret Davenport Damm. Jackie was a US Marine and was formerly employed with SC Regional Housing Authority #1. He was of the Baptist faith.Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, James David Patterson of Laurens, and Nicholas Adam Patterson and wife Nichole of Enoree; six grandchildren, Caleb Lee Patterson, Peyton Troy Patterson, both raised in the home, Jayce Patterson, Jackie E. Patterson, III, Shana Patterson, and Kevin Patterson; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Michael Oswalt of Woodruff.In addition to his parents, Jackie was predeceased by two sons, Jackie E. Patterson, Jr. and Marty Patterson; and his sister, Terry Thompson.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends at the mortuary immediately following the service.The family will be at the home of his mother-in-law, 327 Boyd Road, Laurens, SC.
