Gary Ray Gambill, Sr.

Gary Ray Gambill, Sr., 58, of 1134 Ranch Rd. and husband of Phyllis McKellar Gambill passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Breathitt, KY, he was a son of the late Charles and Vicie Russell Gambill. A U.S. Army veteran of Desert Storm, he was employed with B.F. Shaw. Gary was a loving husband and father, who took care of his family and friends and was a fun-loving prankster.In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his children, Michelle G. Oglesby and husband Chip of Nashville, TN, Gary Ray Gambill, Jr. and wife Brandy of Laurens, Mallory G. Williamson and husband Wesley of Greenville, and Ethan Gambill of Laurens; brothers, Charles Gambill of KY and Johnny Gambill and wife Donna of KY; and grandchildren, Jeremy and Wyatt Gambill.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Adam "Hickey" Manns and Corneilous "Neil" Stacy. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev.
