Frances Riddle Eppley HellamsHickory TavernFrances Riddle Eppley Hellams, 94, of 13045 Hwy 76 West, passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Riddle. She was a faithful member of Rabun Creek Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and choir member for many years. Mrs. Hellams was retired from Milliken, J.P. Stevens and the Laurens District 55 cafeteria department. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.She is survived by: her children, Paul Eppley and wife Ann of Laurens, John Eppley of Houston, TX, James C. Eppley, Sr. and wife Lynn of Laurens, and Billy Fred Hellams and wife Shirley of Anderson; a son-in-law, Charles Johnson of Laurens; and a host grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Lloyd Eppley, Paul O. Eppley, Sr., and William Fred Hellams; her children, Doris Ann Eppley Johnson, Franklin Eppley, Margaret Eppley Smith, Betty Sue Eppley; and siblings, Jeanette Riddle Young, Annie Ruth Riddle Driggers, Virginia Riddle Reed, Bert Riddle Mabry, and Charles Riddle.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Rabun Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Jayson Payne and Rev. Tony E.
