David Michael Cox

David Michael Cox, 53, of 5 Gallon St., passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at his home.Born in Laurens, he was a son of Imogene Cogdill Cox of the home and late Thomas L. "Buck" Cox. A member of Bellview Baptist Church, he was employed with Gwinn Contracting. Mr. Cox loved music, the guitar, and gardening.In addition to his mother, he is survived by: a brother, Thomas Glenn Cox of Laurens; a nephew, Thomas Allen Cox and wife Brailey; a great nephew, Isaac Cox; a great niece, Daisy Lynn Cox; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.In addition to his father, he was predeceased by: his maternal grandparents, Bill and Nellie Cogdill; and his paternal grandparents, C.C. and Beulah Cox.Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2017, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev.
