Brian Shannon McDowell, age 46, of Laurens, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at his home.Born in Clinton, he was a son of Myra Lynn King Turk (Robert) of Sarasota, FL and Buddy McDowell (Holly) of Waterloo, SC. Brian LOVED his family and friends more than anything. He also loved to ride his Harley and enjoyed music.Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughter, Brittany McDowell of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Sonya Padgett (Jamie), Emily McDowell, Brieanna McDowell, all of Laurens County; grandson, Mason Millan; grandmother, Rosa King; step-sister, Tara Hubbard; step-brothers, Ryan Draper and Robbie Turk; special aunt, Robbin Stewart; and special buddy, Caleb Baumgardner.Brian was predeceased by his grandfather, Heyward Richard King, Sr.Visitation will be held at The Kennedy Mortuary from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2018.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Lucas Avenue Baptist Church.
