Billy Robison

William Russell "Billy" Robison, age 66, of 917 Union Highway, and husband of Elaine Shipman-Robison passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.Born in Great Lakes, IL, he was a son of the late Robert Eugene Robison, Sr. and Doris Jean Pitzer Robison. Billy retired from Mohawk Carpet in Landrum and was of the Baptist faith. He loved Gold and Rock Prospecting and also enjoyed fishing.Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Rick "Wolf" Nelson of Enoree, and Brandi Nelson (Shannon Hamby) of Pauline; siblings, Major Judy Ann Smith (1SG Jerry Smith) of Lexington, Robin Jean Dodd of Dallas, TX, and Robert Eugene Robison, Jr. of California; granddaughters, Courtney Tucker and Shanoah Tucker; niece, Jennifer Curley (Mark); nephew, James Michael Smith; and great-nephews, Miller Curley and Max Curley. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 31, 2019, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel.
