Barbara Ann Brown MerckAndersonBarbara Ann Brown Merck, 75, widow of Jimmie Earl Merck, and a resident of Ellenburg Nursing Center in Anderson and formerly of Laurens and Clinton, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Rainey Hospice in Anderson.Born in Rocky Mt., NC, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mildred Gibbs Brown. A retired hairdresser, she was a member of the Eastern Star.She is survived by: her children, Anne Merck Gillespie and husband Robert of Anderson, Jimmy Merck of Savannah, GA, Tommy Merck of Diamond City AR, and Norma Jean Merck of Honea Path; a loving niece, Cindy Sanders and husband Keith of Cross Hill; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 1, 2015, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel in Laurens, conducted by Rev.
