Alvis Benjamin Phillips, age 71, formerly of Honea Path and Iva, SC, and husband of Patricia Zube Phillips, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Alvis and Katherine Davis Phillips Redd. Alvis was a loving Husband, Father, PaPaw, and a hard worker. He retired from Dreicor, Inc. in Hendersonville, NC with 30 years of service. Alvis has many good friends from his work and home life.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, David Phillips (Alicia) of Laurens and Marcy Pratt (Kevin) of Anderson; three siblings, Joan Bridges, Sharon Redd, and Bryan Redd; and six grandchildren, Ben Phillips, Reagan Phillips, Madison Pratt, Brooklyn Pratt, Chandler Davis, and Chelsea Davis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
