William Alver “Al” Aultman, 72, of 699 Neely Ferry Road and husband of Nancy Jenkins Aultman passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late Jesse Edward Aultman and Margaret Bright Aultman Hendrix. Mr. Aultman was a retired truck driver for Southeastern Freight Lines and attended Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church in Laurens. He was a Mason and member of Wallace Masonic Lodge #49.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: children, Vernon Lee Aultman and wife Lori of Waterloo and Amanda Aultman Simpson and husband Charles of Hickory Tavern; brother, Walt Hendrix and wife Connie of Rosman, NC; sister, Ann Aultman Simmons and husband Jimmy of Lugoff; grandchildren, Will Aultman, Wes Aultman, Logan Simpson and Ashton Simpson; step grandchild, Samantha Mitchell and husband Urban; and step great-grandchildren, Harrison and Hartley Mitchell.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Traci Renee Aultman.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

I love you, Alver. You always made me smile. You were there to help Mama and me when Daddy passed. This meant so much to us. Daddy (James Alver Bright) talked often about the 18 wheeler road trip he went on with you. It was one of the best times he ever had. Thank you. I will miss you.
