Addie T. Good

Addie Tingle Good, 88, resident of Carolina Gardens and formerly of Lisbon Rd., passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017.Born in Ora, she was the wife of the late Raymond Edson Good and a daughter of the late William Berner and Bertha Mines Tingle. A retired secretary and bookkeeper, she was an active, lifelong member of Ora ARP Church and a member of the Laurens County Hospital Auxiliary. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Williamson and husband Larry of Whittier, NC, Jenny Bannister and husband Dan of Hendersonville, NC, Janet Walston and husband James of Mountville, and Cindy Stockman and husband Matt of Laurens; grandchildren, Jenna Bowers and husband Jeremy, Olivia Walston, Liza and Lara Bannister, and Addie and Edson Stockman; great grandchildren, Jaylyn Griffin, Mariah Griffin, and Cade Bowers.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Ora ARP Church, conducted by Rev. Samuel Roper, and Rev. William F. Blakely. A private burial will be held in the church cemetery.The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.Memorials may be made to the Ora ARP Church, 325 Cow Trail, Gray Court, SC 29645.
