South, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at National Healthcare Center of Laurens. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Lila Pace Watts. She was a member of Lucas Avenue Baptist Church, was formerly employed at Laurens County Hospital, and retired from Whitten Center as a nursing assistant. Surviving are a son, Mike South and wife Tina of Honea Path; two sisters, Kathleen Bolt of Pendleton, and Margaret Sims of Greenwood; three grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Jimmie South and a grandson, Brandon South. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday, July 26, 2010, at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. Chad Jordan.
