Martha Traynham Williamson, 80, of 389 Hood Creek Road, widow of Marion T. Williamson, passed away Friday, February 05, 2010, at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
Born in Fountain Inn, she was the daughter of the late Herman D. and Leila Pitts Traynham. She was the co-owner of Laurens Cleaners and was a member of Friendship Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are daughter, Kathy W. Cheely and husband Doug of Laurens; one son, Kenneth Timothy Williamson and wife Patty of Laurens; one brother, Fred A. Traynham and wife Nancy of Nashville, TN; four sisters, Dorothy T. Lunsford of Laurens, Betty T. Goodwin and husband Jerry of Fountain Inn, Julia Powers and husband Floyd of Hopewell, VA, and Nancy T. Martin and husband Ridgeway of Spartanburg; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Friendship Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Tony Crouch.
The family will be at 343 Hood Creek Road, and will receive friends after the service at the gravesite.
